New York Knicks
Two-time NBA champions and the loudest building in the league when they roll.

Two-time NBA champions and the loudest building in the league when they roll.
Founded in 1946, the Knicks gave New York two titles in the early 1970s, in 1970 and 1973, led by Willis Reed's famous limp onto the court and Walt Frazier's cool. The Garden was the centre of the basketball world.
Then came the long ache. Patrick Ewing's 1990s teams were tough and close, undone by Jordan and a missed finger-roll in 1994. Decades of dysfunction followed, with Linsanity a brief bright flash.
Jalen Brunson has restored pride and playoff basketball to the world's most famous arena. The two banners are old, but the noise at the Garden never faded.
The Bernard King years of the mid-1980s gave the Garden one of its purest scorers, and the Sprewell and Houston run to the 1999 Finals as an eighth seed is still folklore on Seventh Avenue.
You suffer loudly and love harder. Knicks fans are the most passionate and most pained in the league, and they would not trade it.
A gritty, physical team that feeds off the Garden crowd. Strong home value; the half-court grind makes unders attractive in the playoffs.
