The team that makes stars.

Red Bull's second team has one job: find the next great driver and let them shine.

This team has worn many names. It began as Minardi, a small Italian outfit loved by fans. Red Bull bought it and turned it into Toro Rosso, then AlphaTauri, and now Racing Bulls, based in Faenza, Italy. Its history is full of shocks. Sebastian Vettel won here at Monza in 2008 in the rain. Pierre Gasly won at Monza again in 2020, another stunning upset.

The real job of this team is to grow drivers for Red Bull. In 2025 the rookie Isack Hadjar grabbed a podium at Zandvoort and earned a Red Bull seat for 2026. Now the team pairs the experienced Liam Lawson, who was dropped by Red Bull after just two races in 2025, with the only rookie on the 2026 grid, British teenager Arvid Lindblad.

For the fans

This is where you spot the future. Half the grid passed through these doors. Watching Lindblad learn the ropes while Lawson tries to prove a point is great human drama.

Punter's angle

A rookie like Lindblad is a wildcard, which cuts both ways. Early on, to-be-classified and beat-teammate markets carry more risk and more reward. Their Monza history shows this team can produce one shock result a year, so keep an eye on long-shot podium prices at wet or chaotic races.
