AUDI
audi
Audi Revolut F1 Team. Based in Hinwil. Constructors championship position 9 in 2026 with 2 points.
A proud privateer becomes a giant.
The little Swiss team that fought the big boys is about to wear one of the biggest badges in cars.
For decades this was Sauber, founded by Peter Sauber and based in Hinwil, Switzerland. It gave the sport some great moments. Kimi Raikkonen made his debut here. As BMW Sauber, Robert Kubica won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix, the team's only victory. But it was always a privateer, fighting for scraps against the factory teams.
That changes now. Audi has taken the team over fully and races as a works manufacturer from 2026. The handover year was rough, but it had a golden day. At Silverstone in 2025 Nico Hulkenberg finally scored his first podium after 239 starts, the longest wait in F1 history, and the team's first podium since 2012. He stays for 2026 next to the young Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2024 F2 champion.
Two stories pull you in. A veteran who waited 15 years for one podium, and a young champion learning his trade, both inside a brand-new Audi works project trying to find its feet.
New works teams rarely win early. Treat Audi in 2026 as a midfield project. The interesting market is the long game, like top-ten finishes late in the year as the Audi package matures. For now, keep them in head-to-head and points props, not win bets.
The drivers.
