England come from behind to beat Croatia
England won a six-goal thriller against Croatia on 17/06/2026. They had to come from behind. Martin Baturina put Croatia ahead on 36 minutes before Harry Kane levelled soon after. Petar Musa restored Croatia’s lead right on half time.
England took control after the break. Jude Bellingham struck within two minutes of the restart to level it again. Marcus Rashford was on target as England pulled clear to win 4-2.
The win sent England top of Group L. They showed they can win an open, messy game. Croatia, beaten despite scoring twice, will rue a leaky defence.
